Biography
Sarah L. Rendell, Ph.D., M.A.T., is a licensed psychologist and former teacher who specializes in providing individual psychotherapy, parent guidance, and psychoeducational evaluations. Dr. Rendell’s training included rotations at Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital, Department of Veterans Affairs Hudson Valley Health Care System, Sasco River Center (formerly The Southfield Center for Development), and several area clinics. In addition to providing direct client services, she has recently served as the Associate Clinical Director at Sasco River Center and as the School Psychologist at The Windward School.
Dr. Rendell is passionate about providing comprehensive and empathic care to individuals with anxiety, depression, medical conditions, and psychosocial difficulties. Her approach, while rooted in cognitive behavioral theory, is individualized to meet each client’s needs. Her warmth and genuineness make clients of all ages feel at ease and empowered to take on challenges and achieve their goals. Dr. Rendell engages with parents, spouses, teachers, and other important figures in her clients’ lives, as appropriate, to provide comprehensive care to each individual.
